How to Install Google Hangouts on Ubuntu 22.04

Let’s use the following instructions for install and use google hangouts on linux ubuntu 22.04:

• Step 1 – Update System Packages
• Step 2 – Install Snap
• Step 3 – Restart Snap
• Step 4 – Install Yakyak

Step 1 – Update System Packages

First of all, open terminal or command line and run the following command on command line to update system packages:

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y

Step 2 – Install Snap

Then execute the following command on command line to  install the Snap package:

sudo snap install snapd

Once the snap installation has been finished, runthe following command to validate that Snap is working:

sudo snap install core

Step 3 – Restart Snap

Run the following command on command line to restart Snap:

sudo systemctl restart snapd

Step 4 – Install Yakyak

Finally install YakYak on Ubuntu 22.04 by running this command:

sudo snap install yakyak
